Goods
means the blinds, window furnishings or other products
manufactured or supplied by Trident Blinds, and the subject of an online order
made by You.
You
means the person or organisation ordering the Goods
from Us.
Us and We
means Trident Blinds, whose Head Office is The Pumping
Station, A32, Swanmore, Hants SO32 2QF, England.
Fabrics
-
Acceptable shade and pattern variations may occur when blinds are cut from
different rolls of the same fabric design and colour.
-
We are not responsible for shade variations due to light or colours emanating
from other sources that may affect the overall appearance of your blinds.
-
We are not responsible for the colours displayed by the variations of your
monitor settings when fabrics are viewed on our website.
-
Where translucent materials overlap, bunch, gather or fold, the colours will
darken naturally, and this is not a fault of such materials.
-
Although blackout fabrics will not let light penetrate through fabrics, light
can still bleed through edges and stitch/drill holes.
-
Stitchbond fabrics can be patchy in appearance due to the manufacturing process
of the base cloth. If concerned, please specify a Jaquard woven fabric.
-
Fabric names are not a description of colour, but a method of identification.
-
Washable fabrics must be washed strictly according to instructions, supplied
separately. Not all fabrics may be washable, please check before washing.
-
Wood blinds are a natural product and so there can be a small element of
warping and shade variation due to natural ageing.
-
Awning fabrics are sunb-linds. They are coated for water resistancy and are
showerproof, and some water may penetrate when saturated.
-
Awnings have limitations on internal sun protection,
and we are not responsible for the angle of sunlight. It is advisable to have
your awning as wide and long as possible.
Sizes
-
We cannot be held responsible for incorrect sizes supplied by you. Where sizes
are measured by our representative, we shall be responsible for those
measurements, and such measurements will be deemed to be correct if the blind
fits from the points we have measured from.
-
Where windows are out of alignment and/or walls, cills, etc are not level, gaps
may appear between the blind and where it is fixed. This is not a fault of
measuring. To operate properly, the blind will need to be fitted square and
level.
Delivery Times
-
Delivery times are given in good faith and are approximate. Your blinds will be
made to order and fabrics will be ordered to suit. Delivery times are not a
condition of your order unless agreed and signed by you and us.
-
We will deliver your order as soon as the order has been completed by our
factory.
-
We can accept no liability for delays or damage in delivery due to strikes,
flood, fire, accident or any other events or circumstances beyond our control.
Fitting
-
You will fit the blinds you order from us, unless fitting by our personnel is
part of your order.
-
If using our fitters, you are responsible for clearing the work area, ready for
the blinds to be fitted.
-
If brackets are requested to be "face fixed" then it may be necessary to drill
holes in window frames. This should not affect the operation of your windows,
and you are advised to check with our fitters first.
-
We are not responsible for decorations, paint-work or plaster-work that may be
disturbed where necessary holes are drilled by our fitters. Any additional
holes drilled to get a better fixing will be filled with an appropriate filler.
-
Our fitters will take care to keep any dust to a minimum, and will use dust
sheets and clean up in an appropriate manner.
-
Wherever possible, it is your responsibility to inform the fitter or to mark
any hidden pipes, conduits or cables. We can not be held responsible for any
damage caused by drilling into unknown areas of wall or framework, although we
will take as much case as possible to avoid such events.

A minimum of 50% deposit is required for all orders.
-
Payment is due when the order is ready, and must be paid and cleared prior to
delivery, collection or fitting.
-
All goods remain our property until fully paid for.
-
VAT and delivery is included for orders made and delivered within the UK.
Overseas orders will be dealt with as appropriate.
